- In a virtual repeat of his winning performance earlier this year at Mid-Ohio, Scott Dixon dominated Sunday’s Indy Japan “The Final” at the Honda-owned Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan, leading all but one lap on the 2.983-mile road course.
- Scott Dixon edged Will Power by just two-hundredths of a second in IZOD IndyCar Series qualifying Saturday at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan, becoming the first driver in the 14-year history of the track to claim poles on both the circuit’s oval and road-course tracks.
