| Honda Updates Its S-MX Series |
| Tokyo, September 19, 1997 --- Honda Motor Co., Ltd. updated today its popular S-MX new trend passenger car line-up, standardizing ABS throughout the range and further adding a number of safety and convenience features. A new LOWDOWN-based "White Stream" version in Taffeta White is also being introduced to complete the line-up. The new S-MX will be made available through Honda's Clio network nationwide starting September 19, 1997.
S-MX LOWDOWN White Stream
Main Features:
- Standard 3-channel digital ABS, direct-clamp 3-point ELR front seat belts
with tension reliever, and rear seat with child-seat anchor.
- Standard low fuel warning lamp on all 2WD and LOWDOWN versions.
- Interior lamp-synchronized keyless entry system (standard on LOWDOWN and included
in the factory installed S-package for 2WD/4WD versions).
- New LOWDOWN-based "White Stream" version in Taffeta White with body-colored
bumpers, door mirrors, door handles and washer nozzles.
